Eugenia Sherman Brown is a mosaic artist based in Madison, WI.

In the Spring of 2023, five Madison, Wisconsin, artists (and longtime friends) came together to propose a collaborative art exhibition. Overture Center for the Arts accepted our plan for a Summer 2025 show. In these two years, we intentionally walked life together, through sorrows and joys, as we designed and executed a collective creative venture. We focused on how our lives have “threaded through” and inspired our creative process.
Included in the group are Fabu Phillis Carter (Madison's first African American poet laureate), Bobbette Rose (encaustic), Cynthia Reynolds (textile/mixed media), Janine Bessenecker (watercolor), and Eugenia Sherman Brown (mosaic).
The show is available for viewing at Overture Center for the Arts, Gallery One, June 17-August 24, 2025
Opening Reception, June 26, 5:30 - 8:30. Artists talks 6:00 - 7:00.
Poetry Reading: July 20, 1:00 pm, Overture Center for the Arts in the Wisconsin Studio.
